Daintree Rainforest, Mossman Gorge & Lunch at Daintree Tea House

Fish farms on our way to the Daintree Rainforest.

Sugar cane harvest and transport.

Pretty tree.

We walked around the fire through its smoke.  That was a protective ceremony prior to going through the rainforest.

Our Aboriginal guide, Jeremy.

I liked the leafy vines growing up the tree.

Notice the growths from the smaller tree around the bigger tree.  Eventually with added  growth the surrounded tree will die.  It might be called the strangler fig.

Notice the strangling tree in this picture.

Mossman Gorge

A shelter.

They heated water to make us tea following out trek through the rainforest.
